Delores Dian Stevens

Delores Dian Stevens, 80, of Kokomo passed away June 25, 2018. She was born August 6, 1937 in Cynthiana, Indiana, to Chester Linhart and Frances Mae (Lowe) Spradlin. In 1957 she married Robert Stevens and moved to Kokomo. Dian and Robert have 5 wonderful children. She was employed for several years with JC Penny, but then went on to work at Delco for more than 18 years, retiring from there. Dian was a very artistic person; she could always be found crocheting or painting ceramics for her family and friends. She enjoyed the flower box that her son would plant for her each spring. Mostly, she loved spending time with her family, enjoying all the extracurricular activities that her kids and grandkids were involved in. In addition to her parents, Dian was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Nancy Spradlin, a grandson and great grandchild. Dian is survived by her husband Robert; siblings, Dr. Joseph Spradlin, Larry (Diana) Spradlin and Joyce Goodwin; children, David (Barbara) Stevens, Darrell (Penny Chamness) Stevens, Toni (Dwight) Sullivan, Linda (Richard) Russell and Deanna Baker; 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, June 29 from 5-8pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo 46902. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 30 at noon, also at Sunset Memory Garden.
