Nola Orlene (Langford) Morgan
22 November, 1924 – 12 August, 2019
IN THE CARE OF
Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery
Nola Orlene (Langford) Morgan, 94, of Kokomo went home to be with her Lord August 12, 2019. She was born November 22, 1924 in Waycross, Georgia to Louis and Nola (Youmans) Langford.
Nola grew up in Waycross, Georgia and married her dear husband, Walter Morgan December 16, 1946. Together they raised five children. Nola loved the Lord and was a member of Northview Christian Church since 1963. She enjoyed sewing and watching her soaps and wrestling on television. She was a big fan of Johnny Cash. More than anything, Nola loved her family. The children and grandchildren all gathered at her home for holidays every year, making her famous fruitcake at Christmas. Although she was quiet, she was strong in the Lord and her presence will be missed on this earth, but she is now dancing with Jesus.
Nola is survived by her children, Anna (Luis) Medina, John (Pam) Morgan, David (Loretta) Morgan, Marvin Morgan and Donna (Bill Powell) Morgan; and many grandchildren (Ashley Robertson, David Medina, Joe Morgan), great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband Walter, Nola was preceded in death by her siblings, John Langford and Ann VanDore; and two grandsons.
Family will receive friends Friday, August 16 from 11am – 1pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902, with service to follow at 1pm. Burial to take place at Kokomo Memorial Park at 2pm.
