Norma Trine

The family of Norma Trine announces her passing on September 27, 2022 at the age of 89. She was born in Rochester, IN on May 27, 1933 to Odetta Manor & James Mabie. Norma married John Trine on June 24, 1950 and was married until his passing in 1993. Norma loved to travel to all parts of Florida. A lot of the time driving herself. She enjoyed reading, country music, birdwatching, her flowers and little dog Billie. Norma is survived by her sons Steve, Michael, Timothy and Rance Trine; daughters Tammy Trine, Pattie Steele, Toni Trine, Kathy Nelson and Sandy (Mike) Pore, Multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by her husband John; parents Odetta & James; son Wade Trine and daughter Nancy Oudemolem; grandchildren Stevie Oudemolem and Shawn Trine; sisters Dorothy Nelson, Deloris Knox & Doris Winters. Norma’s funeral service will be Monday October 3, 2022 1:00pm with visitation from 11:00am until time of service at Ellers mortuary 725 S. Main St. Kokomo. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Sexton will officiate.
