Russell Everett Foughty, 82 of Kokomo went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 31, 2019. He was born January 22, 1937 in Huntington, Indiana to Jesse and Pearl (Elston) Foughty.
Russell joined the Navy in the mid 1950’s and was proud to have served our country. After he came home he went to work for Millington Truck and Body in Huntington, Indiana for eleven years, and then for Chrysler where he became a member of the local UAW, retiring from there after 25 years. He married Judith (Uhl) Foughty and together they raised their children. Russell was a workaholic, but found time to vacation with Judy, their favorite spot being Disney World. He loved listening to country music and spending time with his family.
Russell is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Clint Foughty; stepchildren, Al, Terry and Dorman Dunson, and Tamara Tomlinson, ten grandchildren and more great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Russell is preceded in death by his three brothers and two sisters.
There will be a small private service with military honors to pay tribute to Russell.
