Dianna Lee McCulloch

Dianna Lee McCulloch, 74, of Coleman Falls passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Danny F. “Mac” McCulloch.
Born in Lynchburg, July 1, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William H. Brooks, Sr. and Daisy Bruffy Brooks. She retired from ITW Paktron and was a faithful member and servant of Tree of Life – Midtown. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
One sister, Macie B. Sizer and two brothers, William “W.H.” Brooks, Jr. and Raymond E. Brooks preceded her in death.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Gene P. Ayers, Jr. and William L. “Billy” Ayers; two daughters, Donna Rice and husband Curry and Dannette Petty and husband John; six grandchildren, Johanna Bellovich and husband Dave, Kristin Hicks and husband Greg, Cody McCulloch and fiancé Rachel, Jarett Ayers and wife Jessica, Torin Ayers and Cara Brooke Petty seven great grandchildren, Sydney, Lucas, Claire, Kayleigh, Easton, Addison and Tanner; one sister, Rhonda B. Franklin and husband Rodney; one sister-in-law, Wilma B. Hensley; a special cousin Betty B. Nichols and dear friends, Carol, Bonnie and Geneva. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 12 Noon Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Love and Truth Community Church with Fred Williams and Pastor Keith Vinson officiating. The family will host a reception immediately following the service at the church.
Interment will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. at the McCulloch family cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Tree of Life Ministries or the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the nurses and staff at the UVA Dialysis Center, Centra Diabetic Renal unit, Centra Home Health and the staff of DRT Transportation for the wonderful care they provided to Dianna and her family.
