Dolly Drumheller Coleman, 90, of Madison Heights passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Guggenheimer Hospice. She was the wife of the late Harold Grant Coleman. Born June 1, 1928, Schuyler, VA, she was the daughter of the late John Drumheller and the late Lillian Hall Drumheller.
Dolly was the part owner of Ye Olde Antique Shop in Madison Heights, and a member of Amelon United Methodist Church. She was a quarter century member of Craddock Terry Shoe Corporation. Dolly enjoyed the Amherst County Sheriff’s Department and her friends that visited the antique shop.
In addition to her husband and parents, Dolly was preceded in death by her son, Donald Grant Coleman and her sister, Frances Carroll.
Dolly is survived by her sister, Ruby Carrico of Madison Heights and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2018, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. George Dan Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Monelison Rescue Squad or the Amherst County Sheriff’s Department D.A.R.E. program.
