Judith Ellen Massie

Judith Ellen Massie, 74, of Monroe passed away Friday, January 12, 2018, at her residence. She was the wife of Bland Alvin Massie. Born December 23, 1943, in Pana, IL, she was the daughter of the late William Wafford and the late Eva Koontz Wafford. Judith was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Mosley. In addition to her husband, Judith is survived by two children, Jeff Massie (Kimberly) of Madison Heights and Paula Massie of Monroe; three siblings, Bill Wafford, Chuck Wafford and Gary Wafford, all of Pana, IL; two grandchildren, Hannah Massie and Zachary Massie; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family member and friends. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 19, 2018, at New Prospect Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Allwood Cemetery.
