Larry Dwayne Angus, 60, of Amherst, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born September 29, 1961 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late James Thornton Angus and Shirley Spence Angus. He was a retired construction worker and was a member of Monroe U.M. Church.
Larry is survived by two brothers, Gary W. Angus and wife Kim of Madison Heights, and James E. “Jimmy” Angus and wife Pat of Madison Heights; one sister, Faith A. Gilley and husband Cliff of Waikoloa, HI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Larry’s life will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2022 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Sam Stump officiating.
The family will receive friends, following the service.
