Mable Virginia “Sister” Lawhorne Duvall, 83, of Madison Heights, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Anthony William Duvall, Sr.
Born October 71, 1935 in Nelson County, she was the daughter of the late Bland Noah and Kelly Fitzgerald Lawhorne and was also preceded in death by a son, David Lee Duvall; two brothers, and one sister. Mrs. Duvall was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. Duvall is survived by her daughter, Jackie Duvall of Madison Heights; two sons, Anthony William “Bill” Duvall, Jr. and wife Donna of Belair, MD and Kenneth Wayne Duvall and wife Tammy of Frostburg, MD; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, April 8, 2019 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Carlton Duck officiating. Interment will follow at the Lawhorne Family Cemetery in Tyro.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m.
