Soledad Ella Hicaro

Hicaro, Soledad Ella, 99 years passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on September 3, 2017 in Chesterfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vicente G. Hicaro, sons Cesar and Eduardo Hicaro. She is survived by her loving children, Rizalito (Eleonora), Marilou Bailey(Walter), Enriqueta Hicaro- Non (Goody), Teresa Caneza (Carlos), Marj Mohta (Rumy), Manny (Tess), daughter –in –law Marie Hicaro, grandchildren, Raphaela Hicaro (Garrett Vlieger), Alvin (Sylvia), Liza, Bien, Ej, Marielle, Chester, Eric, Cyrus, Avon Tyndall (Erik), Manny Jr. (Kia), great grandchildren Francis, Sophia, Aubrey, Austin and Ashlyn. She had been a very devoted, loving housewife, mother and grandmother not only to her own family but to all she knew, relatives and otherwise, and an entrepreneurial business woman in her younger days. Together with her husband, Vicente, they moved from the Philippines to Richmond, Virginia in 1986 to be with the rest of the family where she lived until her untimely death. Her remains rest at Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road Midlothian, where the family will receive final viewing from friends from 4-8 PM on Friday, September 15, 2017. A Mass of Catholic Funeral will be celebrated on Saturday September 16 at 11 AM at the Church of the Epiphany, 11000 Smoketree Drive, Richmond, Virginia 23236 with a reception immediately following then the interment at 2 PM at the Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832.
