Betty J. Hagdon, 82, Parker City, passed away Tuesday morning, September 20, 2022, at Parker Health Care.
She was born Friday, August 19, 1940, in Haldeman, Kentucky, the daughter of Anderson and Louise (Puckett) Jones. Betty loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible. Betty was a member of the Full Gospel Temple. She worked as a beautician and retired in 1982.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Fannin; son Brian (partner, Robert Morton) Davis; brother, Gary Jones; grandson, Jeremy (wife, Melissa) Fannin; great-grandchildren, Gavin Fannin and Evan Dobbs; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Anderson and Louise Jones; her husband, Ernest Hagdon Jr.; son-in-law, Harry Fannin; brothers and sisters, Beulah Traylor, Roy Jones, Hildreth Bradley, Ray Jones, Milford Jones, and Carl Jones, preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
Family and friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
