Gladys Maxine Hoover Reeves, 91, of Brown County died Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born February 14, 1928 in Brown County to Wilber Hoover and Pearl Roberts Hoover. She was retired from Cummins Engine.
Survivors include her children, Darrell (wife Jennifer) Reeves of Brown County and Patricia Reeves of Columbus; five grandchildren, Stacey Smith, Gerald (wife Shanda) Reeves II, Chad (wife Toni) Reeves, Jesse Reeves and Nicole Ayala; fifteen great grandchildren, Emmah, Hannah, Amy, David, Gretchen, John, Kris, Alan, Kyle, Kaysha, Tanner, Ryatt, Maddie, Caleb and Kara; a daughter in law, Georgia Reeves; a sister in law, Edna Pauline Hoover; a very special former grandson in law, Kyllie Smith; and 4great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, Nelson Dewey; her husband, Harold William Reeves; a son, Gerald Reeves I; a sister, Vivian Hensley; and a brother, Ronald Hoover.
Gladys loved spending time with her family, when younger she enjoyed swimming, bowling, gardening and crocheting.
There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 4:00 PM in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, Nashville. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 PM also in the Funeral Home.
