Bernie G. Decamp, 82, died Saturday, April 27th, 2013 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. He was born November 6, 1930 to his late parents, George and Bessie Norfrey Decamp. He was a Clarksville native, a Navy veteran of the Korean War, lifetime member of VFW Post 1832, and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Clarksville. He was an avid woodworker after retiring from Paramount Plywood and created countless custom treasures for his family.
Survivors include:
Wife: JoAnn Crist Decamp
Children: Denise Hammond (Charles)
Libby Himmelheber (Rick)
Stephen Moneypenny (Yvette)
Dana Burgin (Ed)
Sister: Dorothy Herman (Allen)
7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren
Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 8:00pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Mass will be 10:00am Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 316 N. Sherwood Ave., Clarksville, Indiana with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana
