Diana Katherine Receveur

Diana K. Receveur (Stumler) of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on January 5, 2020 at the age of 81. Diana was born on August 3, 1938 to her late parents Louis J. Stumler & Mary K. Stumler (Fisher). After graduating from New Albany High School, she went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Education at Ball State University. From there she taught elementary education at Fairmont & St. Mary’s of the Knobs School’s. In 1959, she married Dr. Robert L. Receveur. She is survived by daughters Kelly & Kerry; grandchildren, Olivia, Stephanie, Zack, & Matthew; great grandchildren, Kayla, Jordan, Chase, Aden, & Wesley; brother Irvin. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Dr. Robert L. Receveur; daughter Krista; brother Ron. She was a devout Roman Catholic and a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. Visitation will be 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St, New Albany, Indiana. Funeral Mass will be 11 am Friday, January 10, 2020 at St. Mary of the Knobs Church, Floyds Knobs, Indiana with burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy to go to the Mount St. Francis Center for Spirituality and St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
