Obituary of Eugene R. Heeke
Eugene R. Heeke, 88, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away April 2, 2021 at Hillcrest Village. He was born on September 20, 1932 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana to the late Joseph and Adeline Heeke. Eugene was a veteran in the United States Army and was retired from National Home's and Kimball's. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 12 siblings. Eugene is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lula M. Lynch Heeke; two daughters, Sharry Gault (Billy) and Paula Shrout (Marvin); three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1752 Scheller Lane with entombment to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
