Pearl M. Kannapel

Pearl M. Kannapel, 87, of New Albany passed away peacefully Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd. The daughter of the late Frank and Naomi Very, Pearl was born on March 10, 1932 in Floyd County Indiana. She was a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur L. Kannapel Sr.; two grandchildren; three brothers and a sister. She is survived by her children, Wilbur Kannapel Jr. (Marggie) of Georgetown, Diana Pfeifer (Ed) of Floyds Knobs, Barbara Hudson (Allen) of New Albany, Terry Kannapel of New Albany, Patti Thompson (Allen) of Sellersburg, Debbie Hamilton (Ronnie) of New Albany and Jerry Kannapel of New Albany; 11grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1-7 on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Her funeral service will be held Monday, July 1, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Kraft Funeral Service- Charlestown Road with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
