Ruth Earlene Beck

Ruth Earlene Beck, age 82, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Ruth was born November 15, 1939, to the late Earl and Ruth Dizney.
Ruth worked for the Floyd County Welfare Department until her retirement. Ruth was a breast cancer survivor who was very involved in Relay for Life, and an advocate for breast cancer awareness. She was a lifelong member of Northside Christian Church in New Albany, Indiana. Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Beck; great-grandson, Rowan Theobald; a sister, Betty Roudenbush; and her brother Billy Dizney.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Kim Reese (Scott), Theresa Jenkins, and Shelly Klink (Scott); six grandchildren, Brad Mills (Adam), Nickie Wenger (Gabe), Dustin Klink (Starline), Lauren Theobald (Ricky), Casey Meekins (Tim), Kyle Jenkins; along with seven great-grandchildren with one due in December.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 4~8 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 12 PM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
