Joanna Chase

Joanna (Joseph) Chase, 91, of Newburgh, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023. She was born January 29, 1931 in Newburgh. She retired from St. Mary’s Medical Center and was a past member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Joanna loved her pet cats. She was preceded in death by her son, Neil Chase; sister, Flora Mae Conner, and brothers, Charlie Rogers and Leroy Joseph. Joanna is survived by her children, Cheryl Brown and Randy Chase (Linda Will) both of Newburgh; daughter-in-law, Laurie Chase of Newburgh; grandchildren, Melinda (Aaron) Alldredge, of Chandler, Justin Chase of Evansville and Lindsey Chase of Newburgh; great grandchildren, Braden and Baylie Alldredge, and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2023 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Rev. Bill Reed, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
