Dorothy Louise Delia

Dorothy L. Delia, 96 of Norfolk, Virginia quietly passed into eternal life on January 9, 2021. She was born on May 23, 1924 in Greenfield, MA and graduated from Arms Academy in Shelburne Falls, MA. In 1948 she married the love of her life, John Delia Sr. Dorothy “Dot” was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. As a devoted Anglican, she always felt that the Lord was with her. Dot was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John Delia Sr.; son, William “Bill” Delia; grandson Michael Delia, and sister, Ruth Johnson. Left to cherish her memory are her children, John "Nick" Delia Jr., Dr. Ruth Parker, and Linda Delia; grandchildren, Steven Delia, Timothy Michael Parker, Katherine Parker, and Eric Scott Delia; and great-grandchildren Emily, Casey, Elise, and Genevieve Delia. Because of Covid-19, a day of remembrance will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Norfolk S.P.C.A.
