Celebration of Life for Ra’Shawn Alton Butts Sunrise June 4, 1998 - Sunset October 31, 2021 Ra’Shawn Alton Butts was born to Lisa J. Butts-Battle and Chiron Brown on June 4,, 1998. He was raised in a loving family with his stepfather Jerry Battle for whom he was simply his son. Ra’Shawn was an honor graduate of Indian River High School in Chesapeake and was acknowledged at his graduation for perfect attendance throughout his high school career. Ra’Shawn was always a diligent and valuable employee. He worked for years with Pizza Hut putting on long hours and dedicating himself to always improving. He quickly rose to the position of manager. He then moved on to work for Norfolk International Airport before accepting a position with Loomis Armored. To know Ra’Shawn was to know that infectious smile. He was often soft-spoken, kind and loved to laugh. Ra’Shawn shared a deep bond with his brothers, and no one could tell him what to do quite like his little sister.
