IN THE CARE OF
Woody Funeral Home-Parham
Our beloved mother Malvinder “Papu” Kaur,
“ Lady with the big heart” was born on October 4th, 1952 in Moradabad, India and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family in Richmond, Va. on September 11th, 2020. She was a devoted mother and one of the hardest working individuals for those that truly knew her. She was loved by so many for her selfless, kind and giving nature. For the past 30 years, she was an integral part of the Indian-American community in Richmond as well as her Sikh-American family for her humanitarian nature. She taught us the true meaning of life by giving back with an open heart, making the most of what life gives you and most importantly take time to find joy in the little things and create your own happiness. We are forever grateful to her. Her presence and million dollar smile will be deeply missed by her family and all those who were closest to her.
Please do take the time to share thoughts, memories and your friendship with our sweet mother.
A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. In lieu of flowers, we humbly request you to donate towards the below causes that were supported by our mother:
