Lee Arthur McLennan

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dr. Lee Arthur McLennan, age 71. Lee passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2024 while visiting in Scottsdale, Arizona. Lee was born on December 17,1952 in Lynwood California to Robert and Francis McLennan. He lived in Roanoke, Virginia and enjoyed serving the community as an obstetrician gynecologist for a period of four decades. He was a Christian man of integrity who was caring, humble, sincere, compassionate and humorous. He is survived by his wife Patty, their three sons Robert (Shellie), Ryan (Elizabeth) and Chad (Kristen) along with nine precious grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Doug McLennan, sister Twyla Thompson, their spouses and children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Francis and his brother, Robert McLennan. A service to honor Lee's life will be held on May 19th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Roanoke Seventh-day Adventist Church at 4120 Challenger Ave., Roanoke, Virginia. This service will also be available online.
