Neal Vinson Waller

Neal Vinson Waller passed away comfortably at his home surrounded by his children on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 77. He was born in Pulaski, VA to Walter and Nannie Mae Waller on August 10, 1942. He was honored to serve in the United States Air Force as a Parachute Rigger in the 1960’s and was a proud father and grandfather. Neal was a longtime member of Triangle Baptist Church. Neal is survived by his son, Neal E. Waller (Barbra L. Waller) of Fredericksburg, VA; his daughters Samantha L. Waller (Alex B. Heard) of Stafford, VA and Anna M. Ramos (Miguel Ramos) of Temple, TX; and his brother, Larry Waller (Patty Waller) of Waldorf, MD and many nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his nine grandchildren - Nicholas Waller (Brandi Waller), Amber Bowers (Rob Bowers), Angela Frye, Sharlatte White, Teresa Culhane, Alicia Hopkins (Steaphan Hopkins), James Ashley III, Amanda Waller and Christopher Ashley and eleven great-grandchildren. Neal is preceded in death by his wife of 20 plus years, Laura E. Botts Waller, his daughter, Belinda L. Waller, his sister Dottie Tench and his longtime companion Irene Kime. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 30th at Triangle Baptist Church, 4345 Inn Street, Triangle, VA 22172 at 1 pm, with the family receiving friends from 12 – 1 pm. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Colton officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Neal.
