Romayne was a strong woman that touched the lives of many. She was by no means a perfect person, but her passion for her family and loyally to friends was undeniable. Romayne came to know Jesus in 1987, she was baptized in Jesus Name and received that baptism of the Holy Ghost in 1987 in Pittsburgh PA. She was a woman of the Word, even after she lost her sight. She loved good preaching and teaching. She was a soul winner and cared about reaching the lost. She loved Jesus and trusted him even when she didn’t understand the “whys” when her health begin to deteriorate. Many times, people would comment about how despite her physical limitation, her worship inspired them to keep moving on with God. Romayne was a hard worker she received her GED and started doing domestic work. She was known for being a great cook and baker and passed that passion to her younger son. She also became a private duty nurse and cared for the elderly. She lived in Pittsburgh PA until 1999, after the death of her youngest sister, she moved to Tacoma Washington where she lived until 2012. She moved to Virginia to be with closer to her youngest son and grandchildren. During her time in Tacoma she worked until losing both her legs and then her sight due to complication with diabetes. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00pm Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Psalms 116:15 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3
