John Stephen Orebaugh Sr.

John Stephen Orebaugh, Sr. 66, of Stuarts Draft went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2018. He was born on December 19, 1951, a son of the late Gaylon, Sr. and Eva (Sheets) Orebaugh Lockridge. John loved fishing at Smith Mountain Lake with his wife, Linda. He retired from the Afton Inn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Sheets and Gaylon Orebaugh, Jr. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Linda Orebaugh; son, John Orebaugh, Jr.; sister, Brenda Moore and her husband, Ronnie; two step children, Stacey Guyah and Chad Antes; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; as well as many extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the residence of his son, 201 Holland Circle, Waynesboro, Virginia 22980. There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John’s memory to your local SPCA and/or the Shenandoah Valley Animal Services, 1001 Mt Torrey Rd, Lyndhurst, Virginia 22952. Arrangements have be entrusted to the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
