Donald Lee Seeley Sr.

Donald L. “Don” Seeley Sr., 87, of McKinney, TX and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday October 1st 2020 at The Reserve Assisted Living Center in Richardson, TX. He was born on September 6, 1933, in Terre Haute to Elmer and Ethel (Shumaker) Seeley. He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Patricia J. (Hubbs) Seeley. Don is survived by three sons, Don Jr. and wife Shela, Ron and wife Donna, and Steve and wife Theresa; grandsons, Eric and Aron Seeley, all formerly of Terre Haute. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Don served in the US Army during the Korean War. Most of his working career was at the General Housewares Company from which he retired. He was an active member and Trustee at the Moose Lodge, Past President of the Eagles Lodge, and long-time member of the VFW and American Legion all in Terre Haute. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will at place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 10 at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Szwarga officiating.
