Mr. Boaze was born in Danville, Virginia and was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Mary Boaze and his wife Jeanelle Burke Boaze and a brother Ronnie Boaze.
Mr. Boaze retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer after 30 years of service. After his military career he worked with Government Contracting and Sears at Pembroke Mall.
Survivors include his children Randy Boaze and Rhonda Lewis and husband Mike; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two sisters Linda Long and Shelby Burnett.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2:00pm at Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 N. Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach.
