Kathleen Edith McEntee

Kathleen Edith Glancy McEntee, 97, passed away last week in Virginia Beach, VA. Kathleen was the daughter of Charles Glancy and Vivia Briney Glancy both of Lovington, IL. Kathleen spent her early years in Lovington, IL. She graduated from Lovington High in 1941. In 1955 she met Howard McEntee of Owosso, MI, and they were married in 1956. They then lived throughout the Midwest with Howard working for Dri Gas Corporation. When later transferred to Lansing, they decided to start new careers and both worked and retired from Michigan State University. They were members of the Church of the Resurrection. Kathleen participated in numerous events and organizations in Lansing. They had 4 sons, Cary (Rosalie), Jeff (deceased), Howie (Mary) and Jack, all graduates of Lansing Eastern and now all living in Virginia Beach, VA. Kathleen loved Eastern athletics and watched every MSU basketball game. Kathleen enjoyed a long and fruitful life. Full of many friendships. She loved her 50 summers in the Upper Peninsula, at her cottage on Gulliver Lake. Kathleen will be sorrowfully missed but has reunited with Howard.
