Nina Marie (Parnell) Brydge, of Waynesboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Augusta Health.
Born November 21, 1926 in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Dollie (Mize) Parnell Zimmerman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Hudson; a brother, Rudolph Zimmerman, and her husband, Emory Robert Brydge.
Nina was a member of River City Worship Center, where she served as the church clerk for over 50 years, loved to travel and retired from the former General Electric Plant of Waynesboro.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie B. Kent and Debbie B. Steagall; brother, Raymond W. Parnell; grandson, Derek Steagall and wife, Nicki; great-granddaughter, Leighton Steagall, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main Street, Waynesboro with Rev. Larry Hudson and Rev. Lyndsey Dunn officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
