Shannon Marlene Welch Pullin

Shannon Marlene Welch Pullin, age 74, of Waynesboro, VA went home to be with her Lord on September 26, 2022. She was born September 15, 1948 in Hot Springs, VA a daughter of Virginia Markham Welch Bowen and Howard Manard Welch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roger L. Pullin; one son of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Paula E. Conner, Bobbie Jo Gardner, Brenda Babic, Dena Villarreal, and Annette Furey; brother, Malcolm Jack; two sisters-in-law, Linda Burns and Janet Anderson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Shannon attended Glovier Memorial United Methodist Church in Waynesboro. She was a horse enthusiast, and all around animal advocate. She enjoyed long walks with her husband, loved her yard and flowers, playing bingo, and conversations with family and friends. A memorial service will be held to commemorate her life at Glovier Memorial United Methodist Church, 688 Highland Ave., Waynesboro on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Rev. Bill Jones, assisted by Pastor Bobbie Jo Gardner, and Karen Wright. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glovier Memorial United Methodist Church. There will be no graveside service.
