Richard “Dick” A. Compisi passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Patriot's Colony in Williamsburg, Virginia at the age of 79. Dick was born in Baltimore, MD to Samuel and Rhea Compisi. He attended high school at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and graduated with a business degree from Johns Hopkins University.
During his career spanning over 30 years, he was a Senior Financial Services Executive as well as active in arbitration case preparation and expert witness testimony. His many years of experience and service included, Vice President, Resident Manager, Legg Mason/Baltimore, Maryland; Vice President, Branch Manager, Prudential Securities, Inc./McLean, Virginia; and Vice President, Capital Complex Manager, Advest Inc./Washington, D.C.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sheila; daughter, Linda Calleri (Greg); grandchildren, Matthew, Kathleen, and Nicklaus Calleri; son, Steven Compisi; step-children, Kerry O'Neill, and James O'Neill (Becky); grandson, Cameron O'Neill; sister in law, Deborah Davis (George); nephew, Scott Davis (Alana, Jackson and Ryland); as well as many loving friends and cousins in the Compisi and Sacchetti families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Rhea Compisi.
Dick was an exceptionally bright, kind and humble man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was above all, a true gentleman.
A final disposition of his ashes will be held in Baltimore, Maryland at a later date.
