Gurcharan was born in Churchak, Moga, Punjab, and immigrated to Canada in 1980, where he built a life rooted in hard work, family, and community. In 1986, he married the love of his life, Paramjit Kaur Kaler, with whom he shared many wonderful years filled with love and devotion.
He worked for many years as a chef at the Garwood Grill, where his dedication, skill, and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Later, he continued his hardworking spirit as a limousine driver, where he took pride in his service and enjoyed connecting with people from all walks of life.
Gurcharan was immensely proud of his children and their accomplishments — one a pharmacist, another an accountant, and the third an engineer.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, sense of humor, and love for family will be cherished forever.
