Edith E. Pounds

Edith Elizabeth Pounds, 91, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 peacefully in her sleep. She was born April 25, 1929 in Clay County to Lester Wayne and Nellie Riggs. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Pounds; and sister-in-law, Sandy Riggs. Edith is survived by her sons, Mike (Julia) Pounds, Dennis (Jackie) Pounds; grandchildren, Michele (Jay) Funkhouser, Brad (Heather) Pounds, David Pounds and fiancée Carrieann Phegley, Ellie (Ryan) Rippy, Katie (Jeff) Sweppy, Jamie (Travis) Richards; step-grandchildren, Jan Feuquay, Mindy Schultz, Jodie Moan; great-grandchildren, Evan Funkhouser, Erika Funkhouser, Jordan Pounds, Jake Phegley, Ali Phegley, Grayson Richards, Amelia Richards; her brother, Steve Riggs; her nephew, Jeff Riggs; her close friend, Leroy Manuel; and many other cousins and friends.
