Mary E. Kirinich

Mary E. Kirinich (January 28, 1938-May 9, 2024) “The loveliest masterpiece of the Heart of God is the heart of a mother.” -Anonymous Mary E. (Gallagher) Kirinich, beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024, leaving a void her family cannot fill. She was born in Chicago in 1938, to John T. and Marcella (Quigley) Gallagher, the fourth of 7 children. Mary lived in Chicago, IL and Tomahawk, WI, and eventually retired to Ahwatukee, AZ with her beloved husband, Frank. Mary was a loving mother to Kathy Gragido, Robert Reilly, and Patti (Jon) Lammers, devoted sister to Jack, Kate, Bill, Jim, Frank, and Joan. In 1974, she married the love of her life, Frank Kirinich, who preceded her in death and is certainly now rejoicing at their reunion. Mary was also preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings. She is survived by her 3 children, 6 grandchildren, Gina (Bob) Bender, Joe (Ashley) Gragido, Jenni (Mike) Hough, Colby Schultz, Miranda (Matt) Smith, Jessi (Kyle) Lammers, and 9 great-grandchildren, Josh, Jaida, Gianna, Aubrey, Faelyn, Mallory, Cameron, Benedict, and Lucas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives. Services to be held in Chicago, IL and Phoenix, AZ, dates to be determined
