Dorothy Ann Johnson

Dorothy Ann Johnson Mrs. Dorothy Ann Penn Johnson, age 81, devoted wife, mother and grandmother passed away on June 28, 2018. Mrs. Johnson was born on December 1, 1936 in Patrick County, a daughter of the late Walter Richard Penn and the late Mary Estelle Spencer Penn .In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Robert Johnson, a son, Tyrone Johnson, two brothers, Richard James Penn and David Shelburn Penn. Mrs. Johnson was a high school graduate and was employed by Fieldcrest for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Mayo Missionary Baptist Church where she was a Missionary. She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Johnson, one son, Darrell Johnson and wife, Bonita, one sister, Faye Penn, two brothers, Vincent Penn, Frank Penn and wife, Rachel, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Diane Johnson. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM. Monday, July 2, 2018 at Mayo Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Dwight Mack officiating. A visitation will be held at 12:30 to 1:00 PM at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery.
