John J Prillaman

John Junior Prillaman, 85 of Bassett, Va. passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021. He was born September 13, 1935 to John Marshall Prillaman and Nannie Sue Clark. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Maddie Woodard. He is survived by his wife Edna Spencer Prillaman; sons, Ronald Prillaman (Dixie), Tim Prillaman (Mary) and Mike Prillaman; daughter Jeanne Mitchell (Doug); grandchildren, Shannon Prillaman, Mandy Prillaman, Christopher Mitchell, Jonathan Mitchell, Kayla Mitchell (Laura), Eddie Prillaman, and Sarah Prillaman; great grandchildren, Ivy Woodward, Kristopher Phillips, Micah Tucker, Aiden Tucker, Blake and Maddox Mitchell and Sawyer Mitchell; brothers, Dewey and David Wayne Prillaman; sisters Lolene Moore and Mollie Dalton. Mr. Prillaman worked as an insurance agent with Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company. A visitation will be held from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Collinsville Pentecostal Holiness Church. A funeral service will be held at the Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May, 20, 2021 and will be officiated by Pastor Sammy Caldwell. Interment will follow in the Blackberry Baptist Church Cemetery.
