Virginia Lawless

Virginia Lawless, age 92, of Fieldale Virginia, died Saturday, September 28, 2019. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lawless was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Vernon Lawless and 8 brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children, Regina Lawless Phelps (Ron), Janet Lawless Minter, Teresa Lawless Reeves (Gary), Lori Lawless King (Doug) and Melanie Lawless Nelson (Mark); grandchildren, Jeremy Minter, Jonathan Minter (Lisa), Michael Reeves (Amanda), Jessica Phelps, Joshua Phelps (Mary Grace), Christina Reeves Fielder (Joe), April King Siler (Brian), Douglas King (Jennifer), Lindsay King Cassidy (Dan), Hannah Nelson, Alyson Nelson, and Emily Nelson; great grandchildren, Samantha Minter, Liam Minter, Nathan Minter, Sierra Minter, Tyler Vincent, Evelyn Phelps, Adyson Farrington, Christian Dean, Kaylee Siler, TJ Siler, Alexandria King, and Owen King. Also, survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Virginia was known for her delicious fried apple pies and potato salad. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and bird watching. She was loved by her large family. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 5-7 pm at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Drive, Bassett, VA, and other times at her home.
