David Paul McArtor, age 65, of Bloomington passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born June 1, 1955 in Bedford, Indiana, he was the son of Paul and Gloria (Holmes) McArtor. Before becoming ill, David worked as an electrician. David enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching Westerns and auto restoration shows on television. He was of the Christian faith. David is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Debbie (Morrow) McArtor, of Bloomington; two sons, David P. (Kristi) McArtor and Jason McArtor, both of Bloomington, one daughter, Jessica McArtor, of Bloomington; ten grandchildren, Jerri McArtor, Kati McArtor, Bret McArtor, Nakiah McArtor, Brady McArtor, Owen McArtor, Averi McArtor, Emma McArtor, Kadynce McArtor and Arrion McArtor; three great-grandchildren, Alani McArtor Harris, Maliyah McArtor Harris and Nala McArtor Harris; two brothers, Danny McArtor, of Lawrence Co, Indiana and Bill (Penny) McArtor, of Greene County, Indiana, one sister, Diane McArtor Stidd, of Lawrence County, one uncle, Keith Holmes; two aunts, Caroline Hammond and Anna Marie Shelton, several nieces and nephews and his dog, Benji. David was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 5 at 1:00 p.m. at the W. 11th St. Pentecostal Faith Assembly with Bro. Michael Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in Garrison Chapel Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel; 700 W. Gourley Pike on Monday, January 4 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to I.U. Health; Riley Childrens Hospital.
