Kathy Lynn Baugher, 52 S. Deer Lake Dr. Nineveh, Indiana Kathy Lynn Baugher, 52, S. Deer lake Dr., Nineveh , died at 9:10 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010, unexpectedly at Johnson Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. Kathy was born Dec. 18, 1957 in Bedford, the daughter of Lewis W. and Kay Embree Smith. She married Steve Baugher on August 30, 1974 in Columbus . She was a full time wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She had received her Master’s Degree in Microbiology and was formerly employed at Martinsville Hospital as a Medical Lab Technician. She had been a longtime member of Morgantown 1st Christian Church Kathy is survived by her husband, Steve Baugher of Nineveh ; a son, Aaron (Christina) Baugher; parents, Lewis W. and Kay Embree Smith; a brother, Paul Wayne Smith, all of Taylorsville; her mother-in-law, Betty Jane Baugher of Columbus ; and four grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica, Gabriel and Xavier Baugher. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Hope Baugher on April 23, 1996. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th St reet with Burt Brock officiating. Calling will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
