Linda Blanton

Lifelong Connersville resident Linda Blanton, 82, died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Linda was born to Francis and Jessie Pitcher Plummer on November 19, 1938. She was a dedicated homemaker, taking care of her loving family. Linda greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her pets, especially Jenny, her canine companion. She was an outstanding cook, famous for her yeast biscuits. She will be remembered as a loving mother; she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Linda is survived by her sons and their spouses: Tim Davis, Jeff Blanton and Sis, Mike Davis and Darlene, Scott Blanton and Tara all of Connersville; step-daughter: Wilma Paul of Connersville; many grand and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband: Berlon Blanton; daughter: Theresa Colegate; sister: Betty Manly. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Showalter Blackwell Long, Myers Chapel, Connersville with Reverend Pat James officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home from 11:00a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Valley Grove Cemetery, Wayne County, Indiana.
