Dennis K Blakely

Dennis K. Blakely, 62, of Newburgh, IN passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019. He was born in Evansville, IN on May 26, 1956 to the late Elmer and Delphine Blakely. Dennis’ interests were art, reading, studying, and researching. He was a self-taught artist and did some fine oil paintings. The last few years he loved to study and research on his computer about why God really existed. He wrote volumes of material on the subject, and wanted to write a book for possible publication. Primarily he was proving through various science discoveries, that many of the Bibles stories and predictions had actually taken place. He had a feel for facts and applying them to a conclusion. Even though it was hard at times, Dennis appreciated all the support he got from the staff at the Signature Health facility. He especially thought highly of Stephanie, his social worker. Dennis is survived by several cousins and close friends, Alan Foust and Tim Coulter. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Alexander East Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
