Helen (Zenthoefer) Niemeier

Helen Niemeier, 87, of Evansville, IN passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Terrace at Solarbron. She was born on May 14, 1934 to the late Julius and Marie Zenthoefer. Helen graduated from Poseyville High School. She was a past PTA president of Perry Heights. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, cross-stitching, and watching sports. Helen worked at Sigeco and retired as a secretary at EVSC. She attended Resurrection Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rapheal Niemeier. Helen is survived by her sons, Tony (Alison) Niemeier of McCallen, TX, Phillip Niemeier of Evansville, Paul (Cindy) Niemeier, of Evansville; stepdaughter, Reatha (Ron) Nurrenbern of Evansville; brothers, James Zenthoefer, of Lakeland, FL, Donald (Linda) Zenthoefer of Mt. Vernon; sister, Jayne Overton of New Harmony, IN; grandchildren, Meagan Niemeier, AJ Niemeier, Kelli Niemeier, Cheyenne Niemeier, Wade Niemeier, Renae Jackson and Ryan Nurrenbern. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel with burial to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Poseyville.
