Larry J. Algaier

Larry J. Algaier, 66, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born May 19, 1947, in Evansville, to the late William J. and Clara (Nordhaus) Algaier. He worked and managed for Continental Grain Company for 30 years. He was a member of the Let’s Roll RV Club and enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping, gardening and spending the winters in Florida. Larry was preceded in death by his first wife, Loyce Algaier, in 1986; and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Algaier of Fort Branch; son, Larry William Algaier; daughter, Lauri Miller and her husband, Greg; grandson, Austin Miller; sister, Lee Ann Porter; and nephew, Michael Shawn Porter, all of Evansville. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Bro. Dane Gray, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 1:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
