Norma Richter

Norma Richter, 94, of Evansville, passed Friday, September 8, 2018. She was born January 22, 1924, to Benjamin and Cora Mae Fenwick She was a homemaker and along with raising her five children, worked at Columbia Pharmacy, Hills Department Store, and Kuester’s Hardware Store. Norma enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s ballgames; traveling and Kentucky basketball. She was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church and a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilmore, her daughter, Jane Ellen, and her lifelong friend of 60 years Bea Clem. Norma is survived by her children, Gilmore E. III (Teresita) of Temecula, CA; Courtney Klingelhoefer, Douglas Richter (Barb), Jenny Redmond (Donnie); grandchildren, Jeff, Tim, Donna, Stephanie, Nicole, Jim, Mike, Joe, and Julia Kay, along with 17 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
