Trevor A Scarlett

Trevor A. Scarlett, 24, of Evansville, IN, passed away on May 30, 2018. He was born on August 31, 1993 to John and Terri Scarlett. Trevor graduated with honors from Harrison High School in 2012 where he was the team manager for football, baseball, and basketball. He then graduated at the top of his class from the University of Southern Indiana in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. Trevor most recently completed his first year at Scott Elementary School where he enjoyed teaching Special Education. He was a very thoughtful, caring, and generous person who was always there when his family needed him. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Scarlett, Sr.; and cousin, Kevin Kunze. Trevor is survived by his parents; brother, Taylor Scarlett; sister, Jessica Scarlett; grandmother, Karen Priester; grandparents, Harold and Joan Post; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, with burial at a later date. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 5:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Scott Elementary School PTA.
