EN EL CUIDADO DE
Alexander Funeral Home-East Chapel
Wade Anthony Conway, 35, of Evansville, IN passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at his home. He was born on July 11, 1986 in Evansville.
Wade endured a lifetime of struggles with Arthrogryposis, the disease he was born with to enjoy a remarkable life, well beyond medical expectations. He drove a specially made, joystick controlled Scion. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from USI and had bylines with the Courier/Press Online. He was a volunteer coach for the Bosse Baseball team. Never letting his physical disabilities deter him, he married and even bought a house, things that didn’t seem possible to accomplish.
Wade had a wonderful sense of humor and was quick-witted. He was known as the moral compass by his caregivers. He was very smart and outspoken on social matters. Wade loved baseball, rock-n-roll and auto racing. He built his own computers and also built friendships all across the country with laymen and celebrities alike.
Wade was preceded in death by his nephew, Rylan Conway.
He is survived by his wife, Kendra Creek; parents, Gregory and Patricia Conway; brother, Ryan Conway; niece, Isley Conway; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends throughout the country.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Alexander East Chapel officiated by Pastor Bill Altman. Friends may visit from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CCI- Canine Companions for Independence or Bosse Bulldogs Baseball program.
