 Obituario de Blanca Nelly Fuentes
Blanca Nelly Fuentes age 81 of Houston TX made her Spiritual journey to be with God on Saturday June 19th, 2021 surrounded by her beloved children and some of her grandchildren who had the honor to kiss and say "hasta pronto" "until we meet again". Blanca Nelly was visiting VA from Houston TX as three of her children live on the area to take care of her as she suffered from liver disease. Blanca Nelly was born in San Miguel, El Salvador on January 23rd, 1940 to Celia Fuentes who became a single mother. Blanca Nelly gave birth to three of her children in San Miguel, El Salvador, made her journey to the United States landing in NY City in 1969 where she had her youngest child. Nelly worked as a seamstress in factories around Brooklyn NY for many years until all the textile factories closed forcing her to retire from that career. Blanca Nelly found her Spiritual journey while living in Brooklyn, she immigrated to the United States to find a better life and means to provide for her children back in El Salvador who were at the care of her mother and relatives. She never missed sending funds to provide for her children and mother. Blanca Nelly chose to live a simple life, denied herself of worldly pleasures in order to provide for her love ones for which we are truly grateful. She was kind, generous, and always welcomed us in her house. Blanca Nelly moved to Houston TX in the year 2000 where she found a church that became her family as she will say "I'm not alone, God is with me and my family are my brothers and sisters from my church." Blanca Nelly was a true lady, she liked her house in order, she was often bending to pick up crumbs from the floor, she took care of the things she had. She always looked presentable, knew how to dress well, loved bright colors and knew how to wear her accessories well. She was a beautiful woman dedicated to her children who turned to her for help if needed. She was honored and respected even when her children didn't always agree with her; she liked to scold us because she wanted our best. Her mother Celia Fuentes, Raul Fuentes, and Rene Fuentes have preceded her. Blanca Nelly Fuentes has four children, Sonia Barrientos, Dinora Estela Villalta de Bock, Mario Villalta, Yvonne Fuentes ten grandchildren, Guillermo Ayala, Bryan Barrientos, Yishai Steffen Bock, Aviva Joy Bock, Jennifer Villalta, Mariana Villalta, Arielle Fuentes, Jaden Rodriguez, Kenneth Rodriguez, Chloe Rodriguez and four great grandchildren, Amir Rivera child of Jennifer Villalta, Jaden Barrientos, Gabriel Barrientos, Calvin Elizabeth Barrientos children of Bryan Barrientos. The family is grateful for all her friends who often called to encourage, cheer, pray for and with her, and bring food during the pandemic. For celebrating her life here on earth and for celebrating her life in that place Jesus went to prepare for those who are truly his. The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Sentara Hospital and the team from Vitas health care Hospice.
