Beatrice Amanda Cage

Beatrice Cage was born on January 18, 1932 to Jarrett Mitchell, Sr. and Creole Potts. She met and married the love of her life, Willie E. Cage. They had many wonderful years together. They were married 54 years. They welcomed their son Cleoatha Cage on August 25, 1961. Beatrice worked as a school cook in Pembroke, IL for many years. She also was a care giver/ Homemaker. She was very family oriented and love her entire family. She loved to cook. She was a beautiful spirit inside and out. She leaves behind her son, Cleoatha Cage of Kankakee, IL (Carolyn Cage); Two brothers, Jarrett Mitchell Jr of Kankakee, IL (Laura) and Michael Mitchell of Phoenix, AZ; 6 granddaughters Marlissah White of Kankakee, IL; V.C (Angie) Drew of Kankakee, IL; Tina Whitlow ( Quaashie) of Fort Wayne, IN; Latoya Cage of Kankakee, IL; Dana Cage of Phoenix, AZ; Cleo Cage of Fort Wayne, IN. She also leaves behind a host of 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren with a new one on the way. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews; cousins. A special niece Angela Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; Her husband of 54 years; Two brothers Paul Potts and Sol Mitchell. She will always be loved and missed by her family.
