Deane "Butch" Alan Neff

Deane “Butch” Alan Neff, of Fort Wayne, Indiana went to be with God on February 18, 2018 at Glenbrook Rehabilitation. He was born on January 8, 1944 in Logansport, Indiana to the late Ruthven Neff and Gloria Clella Neff. Butch was a devout Christian and loved God. Butch always called his home Glenbrook Rehab and was so proud of it. He enjoyed all activities there including the zoo, movies, bingo, pottery, eating out, music, church services, exercising, painting, and visiting all the residents and staff. Butch also loved receiving mail, nature, and his little job of helping fill the bird feeders at Glenbrook. His smile and his love for everyone will always be remembered by all who knew him. He will be missed by all his family and friends. Butch especially loved visiting his sister, DeeDee, and her dog, Bear, Bill and Linda Hambrick, and nephews, Kevin and Stu Hambrick at their homes. He also enjoyed family reunions in Culver, Indiana with his brother, John and all the family. Surviving are his sister, “DeeDee” DeEtta Bear and brother, John Sage. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Louise (Catron) Neff and sister, Florence June Bair. Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Klaehn, Fahl, and Melton Funeral Home (6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819) from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the care of the family to DeEtta Bear.
