Earl G. Hickman

Earl Gene Hickman, 70, passed away peacefully at home February 20, 2019 with family by his side. He was born August 26, 1948 in Mount Moriah, Missouri to Forrest and Viola Hickman and was the oldest of 5 children. He served honorably in the United States Army and worked as an engineer for 30 years. He enjoyed good conversation, spending time with his grandchildren and dogs, Heidi and Abbie, and working on cars. His wife, of 24 years Linda, and he lived between both Maine and Indiana, in order to spend time with family in both states. The couple enjoyed spending time with their best friends Jim and Rose and traveling, making a trip most recently to Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Cecil, and son Anthony. Survivors include his wife, daughter Christy Fast, and son David Payne (Candace). They also include his 2 sisters, 1 brother, and 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, February 25, 2019 with memorial calling from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service at Lifeway Wesleyan Church, 7722 Moeller Rd.
